01 Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files that a website may ask your browser to store on your device. They can help maintain a preference while you browse or allow a choice to be recognized on future visits. Browser local storage, also called local storage, keeps information on your device in a different way: rather than automatically sending its contents with every request to the site, the browser makes them available to the page’s code. This policy explains both technologies because each can retain information between visits.
What is stored depends on your browser settings and the choices you make on the site. You can delete this data using your browser’s tools. If you do, the cookie notice may appear again because the site will no longer recognize your previous decision.
02 How the Site Uses Them
The cookie notice lets you accept all categories, reject the optional ones, or configure each separately. Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage under the key cookie_consent. This record indicates that strictly necessary features are active and stores your choices for analytics and marketing. It keeps the notice from reappearing on every page or visit in the same browser while the record remains stored.
No optional feature is activated before you consent. Rejecting analytics and marketing does not prevent the use of features strictly necessary to display the site and retain your choice. Your decision applies to the browser and device where you made it; it is not automatically transferred to another browser, device, or profile. The contact form is covered by the Privacy Policy, which explains how data sent to the workshop is used.
03 Categories
Analytics and marketing are separate categories. You can allow one and reject the other without affecting strictly necessary features. For optional technologies, the choice presented in the notice is the basis for activation under the consent rules of Brazil’s General Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 13,709/2018 (LGPD).
04 What May Be Stored
The table distinguishes the record used by the notice from entries that may exist only if optional features are activated with your authorization. We do not assign fixed names or retention periods to optional tools that have not been identified in this policy.
The last two rows describe conditional categories, not a list of cookies currently installed. If optional features are used, this policy must be updated with more specific information about their entries and retention periods.
05 How to Change Your Choices
You can review your decision at any time using the button below. It reopens the notice and its settings, where you can accept all categories, reject the optional ones, or select analytics and marketing individually before saving. The strictly necessary category remains active. A new choice replaces the decision stored in cookie_consent in this browser.
You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Look for privacy, browsing data, or site storage options; menu names vary by browser. You may also block storage technologies using your browser’s settings, but this can affect site functions that depend on them. Deleting Riverlalpha’s local storage also deletes the record of your choice, so the notice may appear again on your next visit. Clearing data on one device does not automatically clear it on another.
06 Third-Party Content
Some technical services, such as hosting and email, may involve providers that process information needed to operate the site or respond to messages. This does not, by itself, authorize the installation of optional cookies. If a page begins displaying embedded third-party content, that content may use its own storage practices when loaded. Optional features of this kind must not be activated before the corresponding consent is given. Review the external service’s privacy policy before interacting with it; Riverlalpha does not attribute practices on this page to specific providers that have not been identified.
07 Updates to This Policy
This policy takes effect on . It may be revised if the technologies used, their purposes, storage periods, or applicable legal requirements change. The date at the beginning of the page identifies the version shown. If a change requires a new decision about optional features, we will ask for your choice before activating them. We recommend reviewing this page whenever you want to check the available information about storage on the site. Changes to this policy do not make consent you did not give apply retroactively.
