01. Scope and Responsible Party
These terms govern access to and use of the Riverlalpha site and explain how the information published here relates to inquiries made to the workshop. The service provider identified in this document is Riverlalpha Serviços de Bicicletas Ltda., located at Rua Vidal Ramos, 180, Centro, Florianópolis - SC, 88010-320, Brazil. For matters concerning the site or services, email contato@riverlalpha.site or call +55 (48) 99172-6048. Read these terms together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
By browsing the site, you agree to use it in accordance with these terms and applicable law. Accessing the site does not, by itself, obligate you to purchase a service. If any provision of this document conflicts with a right protected by law, the law prevails. In particular, these terms do not set aside the protections granted to consumers by the Consumer Protection Code, Law No. 8,078/1990.
02. Services and Information
Riverlalpha is a family-run bicycle workshop in Florianópolis. Its work includes assessments, servicing, adjustments, and repairs for conventional bicycles, as well as advice on compatible basic accessories. The team discusses how the bicycle is used, examines its condition, and explains the proposed work and available parts before starting. The workshop does not repair motorcycles or work on the electrical systems of motorized bicycles. If you are unsure whether the workshop can work on a particular model or install an item, please contact us before visiting.
The site’s text, images, and descriptions are for information purposes. They do not replace an in-person inspection, constitute an individual diagnosis, or, on their own, represent a binding offer of a service, timeframe, part, or price. Describing a problem in a message can help start the conversation, but its cause, the work options, cost, and estimated completion date depend on an assessment of the bicycle and the availability of parts. Specific terms will be presented for your review before work begins.
03. Use of the Site
You may browse the site and use its contact channels to learn about the workshop and its services. When sending a message, provide information relevant to your request and, where possible, clearly describe the bicycle and the problem you have noticed. Do not include unnecessary sensitive data. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you choose to provide and for how you use the content made available, without affecting Riverlalpha’s responsibilities under the law.
Do not use the site to transmit unlawful or offensive content or content that infringes others’ rights; attempt to access systems or data without authorization; introduce malicious code; disrupt contact channels; or send automated messages in volumes that make those channels difficult for others to use. You must also not present the site’s content as your own or imply that Riverlalpha endorses an unauthorized activity. Proportionate measures may be taken to protect the site and its users, in accordance with applicable law.
04. Inquiries and Service Agreements
The contact form and other channels are intended to start a conversation. Sending a request or receiving confirmation that it was received does not automatically schedule a visit, reserve parts, confirm a quote, or, by itself, create a service contract. The team may ask for more information or request that you bring the bicycle to the workshop. Diagnosis, recommended work, cost, and timeframe are discussed after an in-person inspection; work will proceed only if you agree to the terms presented.
Photos and descriptions sent before a visit may not show all signs of wear. If the assessment reveals another need or a part is unavailable, the alternatives and any change to the timeframe should be communicated before work proceeds. The site does not provide a price list: prices and terms for specific work are discussed in relation to the bicycle assessed. Keep the information you receive about the agreed work, and ask the workshop about anything unclear before authorizing it.
The Consumer Protection Code applies where a consumer relationship exists. If a service is contracted away from the business premises, the right of withdrawal under Article 49 of that law may apply, depending on the circumstances of the agreement. An inquiry sent through the site does not, by itself, amount to a distance contract. Nothing in these terms reduces legal rights concerning adequate information, service quality, or available remedies if a problem occurs.
05. Intellectual Property
The text, visual identity, photographs, graphic elements, and page layouts on this site are protected by applicable intellectual property laws where relevant. Access to the site permits you to read and use the information personally to learn about Riverlalpha and make contact. It does not grant a license to reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit these materials without authorization from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.
References to third-party brands, names, or content, if present on any page, remain subject to their owners’ rights. You may share a link to the site, provided you do not change its destination or present the page in a way that misrepresents its origin. If you believe published content infringes a right of yours, send us a message identifying the material and providing the information needed to review the matter.
06. Liability
Riverlalpha aims to keep the site’s information clear and up to date, but technical interruptions, factual errors, or changes in service conditions and parts availability may occur. If information appears incorrect, confirm it through the contact channels before making a decision. The site’s content cannot reliably establish the condition of a bicycle remotely. Avoid riding a bicycle that shows signs of a fault until an appropriate professional has examined it.
To the extent permitted by Brazilian law, Riverlalpha is not liable for harm arising solely from misuse of the site, incorrect information provided by a user, or events beyond its control that are unrelated to any fault attributable to it. This provision does not exclude or limit liability where the law prohibits doing so. Consumer rights remain protected, including the Consumer Protection Code rules on defects, service shortcomings, compensation for harm, and the duty to provide information.
07. External Links
The site may contain links to third-party pages for information or navigation. When you follow one of these links, you leave Riverlalpha’s site and use a service governed by its operator’s terms and practices. A link does not mean that Riverlalpha controls the external content, confirms its accuracy, or endorses the products and services presented there.
Before providing data or carrying out a transaction on another site, review its identifying information, terms, and privacy notices. If a link is broken or leads to unexpected content, you can notify the workshop through the channels listed in these terms. Riverlalpha’s responsibility for third-party links and content will be assessed according to the facts and applicable law, including Brazil’s Internet Civil Framework, Law No. 12,965/2014, without setting aside rights that cannot be restricted.
08. Privacy
The processing of personal data associated with your use of the site and the handling of your requests is described in the Privacy Policy. Read it to learn what data may be processed, for what purposes, with whom it may be shared, how long it is kept, and how to exercise your rights. Cookie choices are explained separately in the Cookie Policy. These terms do not replace those documents or, by themselves, constitute unrestricted authorization to process data.
Brazil’s General Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 13,709/2018, known as the LGPD, establishes rights for data subjects and duties for those who process personal data. For questions or requests concerning your data, use contato@riverlalpha.site. Where applicable, you may also file a petition or complaint with the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), following the procedures provided by law. Using the form does not remove the need to read the privacy information on the site.
09. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Depending on the nature of the matter, applicable laws may include the Civil Code, the Consumer Protection Code, Brazil’s Internet Civil Framework, and the LGPD. The reference to Brazilian law does not change any mandatory rights you have under rules applicable to your situation. If a disagreement arises, please first contact Riverlalpha to explain the facts and seek a resolution.
If legal action is necessary, jurisdiction will be determined by the law applicable to the case. These terms do not impose a choice of court that deprives consumers of access to a competent court or makes it harder to exercise their rights. You remain free to turn to consumer protection agencies and other legally available remedies. Nothing in this document should be interpreted as an advance waiver of protections that the law makes mandatory.
10. Changes, Validity, and Contact
Riverlalpha may revise these terms to reflect changes to the site, the services described, or legal requirements. The version published on this page shows its update date and applies to use of the site from publication onward, without retroactively changing specific terms of a service already agreed. Check the current version when you return to the site. If a change legally requires additional information or action from you, it will be handled in accordance with that requirement.
If a provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent they can take effect, while respecting the parties’ legal rights. To clarify a term, report a site problem, or ask about a request, contact Riverlalpha Serviços de Bicicletas Ltda. by email at contato@riverlalpha.site, by phone at +55 (48) 99172-6048, or at Rua Vidal Ramos, 180, Centro, Florianópolis - SC, 88010-320, Brazil.
